The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality: MI

It is in great sadness, that we as a Brotherhood, post the 79th Line Of Duty Death for 2016 from the United States Fire Administration. Fellow Brother Firefighter Thomas Gary Walker has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family, friends and our Brothers & Sisters with the Otsego County Fire Department.

Incident Description: Later in the day after responding with his fire department to an early morning carbon monoxide alarm, Firefighter Walker collapsed at home and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased from a nature and cause of fatal injury still to be reported.
