It is in great sadness, that we as a Brotherhood, post the 2nd Line Of Duty Death for 2016 from the United States Fire Administration. Fellow Brother Firefighter & Paramedic Kenneth K. Harris has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family, friends and our Brothers & Sisters with the Village of Oak Park Fire Department.

Incident Description: Firefighter/Paramedic Harris finished his shift on 01/11/16 at 0730hrs. During this shift, Harris responded to multiple incidents with the last incident being at 0615hrs. At approximately 2030hrs that same day, Harris suffered a cardiac arrest while at home and passed away from injuries sustained.
