Where firefighters come to talk training

Leadership and Why the Cemetery Matters

As a leader and instructor do not take yourself so serious. If you teach on the national level you should ask yourself who have you elevated to the next step? It is your responsibility to build your team.

We all are replaceable that is why it is critical to train our replacement. Thats is why we train and build others up. Its about continuing the work! In return you will build your own legacy without even realizing it.

As a leader you also have to realize that at times you will also have to be a follower. Think of your firefighters as your kids and you can't go wrong. Teach them, keep them safe and give them the tools to make it on their own.
