Where firefighters come to talk training

I'd like to offer some sample scenarios that we've used for some of our assessment center/interview/presentation/oral history/oral resume, etc. courses. I'll have some up soon.  Feel free to post some of your experiences (real or scenarios) that would be a good example of a challenge you may face as a Fire Lt., Captain, B/C, D/C. From initial size-ups to an after action critique and presentation on the event to a community event or a command officers meeting, your daily experiences are literally full of good examples.... Start using the Helicopter analogy.... or ladder! The higher you are, the more you're able to see what you need or should anticipate needing, etc., but the less direct impact you have on the ground... the key here is the use of effective delegation the "higher" you go.  I am working on a FIRE version of our book, so I'm happy to accept any and all ideas you may have as to what you think should be included in the text.
