It is in great sadness that we as a Brotherhood post the 33rd Line Of Duty Death in 2012 from the United States Fire Administration. Fellow Brother Firefighter & Fire Police Captain David Wintz has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and members of the Bristol Fire Company.

Incident Description: Fire Police Captain responded to a chemical plant fire in Bucks County, PA, which was started by a lightning strike. While directing traffic at the scene, Wintz started to feel ill and was taken home. Wintz went into cardiac arrest at home and was then taken to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital where he passed away from an apparent heart attack.
