The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality: WY

It is in great sadness that we as a Brotherhood post the 32nd Line Of Duty Death in 2012 from the United States Fire Administration. Fellow Brother Firefighter Adam Longo has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and members of the Natrona County Fire Protection District.

Years of Service: <1 Date of Incident: 04/12/2012 Time of Incident: 1500hrs Date of Death: 04/18/2012 Fire Department: Natrona County Fire Protection District Address: PO Box 820, 2800 Pheasant DR, Casper, WY 82604-4337 Fire Department Chief: Kevin Finn Incident Description: Firefighter Longo was driving a squad truck to the fire station to pick up a brush truck in response to a grass fire when he suffered a stroke. Other firefighters in the vehicle were able to get control of the truck and bring it to a safe stop. Longo was treated and transported to the hospital but passed away from his injury several days later.
