The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality: TX

It is in great sadness that we as a Brotherhood post the 13th Line Of Duty Death in 2012 from the United States Fire Administration. Fellow Brother Firefighter/Fire Marshall Matt Waller has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and members of the Memphis (TX) Fire Department.

Incident Description: Firefighter/Fire Marshal Waller passed away from a stroke he suffered while on-duty at the fire station.

Funeral Arrangements: Services will be at 1400hrs, 02/28/2012, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Downey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis. (http://www.hughsfuneralhome.com/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=140...)
