Where firefighters come to talk training

The USFA has received notice of the following firefighter fatality: MS

It's been awhile since there was a need to post a Brothers'/Sisters' passing while on a job. These things we don't like to read let alone I don't like posting. Now there are several and it's time we once again ponder why so many?

It is in sadness and with great honor that we as a Brotherhood post a Line Of Duty Death for 2011 from the USFA. Fellow Brother Firefighter Jacob Anthony Carter has made the ultimate sacrifice in love for their fellow man. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and the members of the Becker-Athens Volunteer Fire Department.
