It is with deep sadness and regret that I post a firefighter fatality Line of duty death from the USFA. Fellow brother firefighter/paramedic Christopher Wheatley. Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and the members of the Chicago FD.

Incident Description: Firefighter Wheatley was working a grease-chute fire at a restaurant when he fell approximately 35 feet from a ladder suffering fatal injuries while he was making his way up to the roof of the burning building with his equipment.
