Where firefighters come to talk training

Gettysburg Times Photo

Take a look at the picture and read the comments at the linked article. This is what we mean when we talk about complaceny. This is not good common sense and we can all learn what we should not be doing or allowing on the fire scene!

Ps they said the guy is also brother for D.C...hmmm wonder if he forgot his training!

Stay safe and TRAIN!

You have to wonder some times if guys who have been around and lucky for years actually start to believe they are fire proof or indestructible. I cant think of any other reason why some one would be doing that or be allowed to. However I will stop there simply because I was not there and I don't know the whole story and I try my dam dist not to Monday morning quarterback. But wow it just doesn't look good on so many levels.

I believe common sense is not the way i would put it, The IC should have this person removed from the scene , he has compromised the Dept handling call this whether he is FF or not.
