Initial Summary: Incident Description: After establishing and working traffic control and scene protection for more than an hour at the scene of a motor vehicle accident, Fire Police Captain Mellott was struck and killed by an approaching civilian vehicle. The fatal incident is still under investigation by both local and state authorities. Incident Location: Lusk Run Road & Fairpoint Road, Bald Eagle Twp.
