10:00 – 12:00 Haz-Mat Field operations and Case Studies, by the FDNY HazMat Response Group

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch
13:00 – 14:00 Collapse Rescue Operations, by Chief of Rescue Operations Fred P. LaFemina

14:00 – 16:30 Commanding Terrorist Events, by Deputy Assistant Chief Joseph W. Pfeifer. Followed by: Terrorism Preparedness and Developing exercises, by Battalion Chief Neil Hintze

16:30 – 17:00 Q&A with Panel of the Lecturers

March 16th
08:30 – 10:00 Rescue Units: Trench Operations, by Battalion Chief Joe Downey

10:00 – 11:00 Rescue Units: Confined Space, by Battalion Chief Don Hayde.

11:00 – 12:00 EMT Rescue Paramedics, by the FDNY EMS Command

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch

13:00 – 14:30 Marine Operations and New Boats Response Capabilities, by the Chief of Marine Operations, Battalion Chief James C. Dalton. Marine operations at US Airways Incident, by Battalion Chief Michael Buckheit

14:30 – 16:30 Safety Command, the Safety Culture in the FDNY, by the Chief of Safety Stephen Raynis. Reducing LOD deaths and injuries, including the Accident Reduction Program, by Battalion Chief Daniel Melia Executive Officer to the Chief of Safety
Program ends with Chief of Department’s closing remarks and introducing the “Everybody Goes Home” presentation.

16:30 – 17:00 Q&A with Panel of the Lecturers
Note: Option to tour the Training Academy from 16:30 – 17:00. Buses leave Academy for Manhattan at 17:00
