Where firefighters come to talk training

I received this note from my good friend John Sulka and wanted to remind you all once again what an important project that this is and what a fantastic gift it is for any firefighter to receive this Christmas holiday. I urge you to get one for yourself and for someone you love. Below is John's note

After much planning and effort a September 11th Commemorative Coin has been struck to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center. This coin is a fundraising project undertaken by FDNY Battalion Chief John Salka and a committee of other firefighters and their friends to fund and support several charitable organizations including the W5 Firefighters World Trade Center Fund, The New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation and the FDNY Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Go to our website ( for more information on the charitable funds and to get a look at the beautiful new coin. The coin costs $20 and every penny will be dispersed to the listed funds. This is an opportunity for every firefighter in America to honor and remember the FDNY Brothers lost on 9/11 and to support the great work that the folks at the Burn Center Foundation, VFW and the W5 Firefighters WTC Fund are doing. Take a look at the attached ad and post it where every firefighter will have a chance to see it. Thanks!
Due to high demand any coins ordered after 12/12/09 will be shipped after Jan 1, 2010.
