Where firefighters come to talk training

Okay here is the latest and greatest attempt to better the American Fire Service and the rest of the Emergency Responders in America by President Obama.

Fugate to Head FEMA

Nothing against this guy but what is wrong with finding someone with a little more experience and familiar with how things might be done across the country and not just in one state or on one side of the country.

Any comments and or suggestions on how to select a qualified individual or who would be a good candidate?

I have a few in mind..the question is would Chief Ron Coleman come out of retirement, would Chief Lasky leave Lewisville? How many others are out there we could name? Salka, Halton, Goldfeder, Brunicini?

Thanks Brother Ray for the reply.

Those are all great choices too! I got to talk to Chief Siarnicki back in Oct at the NFFF Memorial Weekend. Tim is coming to Alaska this fall for our annual conference. Be great to finally meet him.
