Todd is a 15 year veteran of the fire service, currently working in Knox county Ohio. He is Nationally known for Hazardous Materials and teaches the topic at The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. Todd has been a guest speaker at several major conferences including FDIC.
Thanks for checking it out. That picture is actually from a "Big Rig Rescue" class we took as a department in PA. It was a very good/informative class. Thanks for checking it out Bro.
I am glad to see you have worked so hard with the explorers! Years ago you could join a volunteer fire department as a sixteen-year-old. Not anymore. Great job!
Scott
well Todd it was a mistake signing up because i am not a fire fighter. i was looking to become one, the thing is i was looking around trying to get an idea of where to sign up. i dont know where to start do you think you can help me?
Janet; I would love to help you in anyway that I can, the fire service is the best job in the world. Please let me know where you live and I will direct you to the correct Fire School. Todd McKee
Thanks Todd,
Looks like a great site to keep up to date with everything. Being in my location this is not easy. Yup, I was having a little fun with some mag. Makes for great pics.

hey man we need to work together soon. I have done 3 shifts and not worked with you once. I put my rough draft for oct schedule look at it when your in and tell me the days your gonna be working and I can change it.
Hey Todd, I just had a good friend of mine join the community and he has a strong background in fire investigation. He might be an asset to your group. His name is Bill Fulk. Talk to you later Dan
Hey Todd, I get to Findlay every year to attend the Marathon Transport Awards. I am a Safety Consultant for Lewis Transport which transports a great deal of fuels for Marathon. Maybe we can hook up sometime. I have been in the Haz. Mat. business for 40 years but still learn everyday. Looking forward to meeting you!
Please allow me to invite you to the group new called Unique HazMat Incidents. This is where you can share pictures, pre-plans, and stories of what you consider a Unique Hazardous Materials incident. Todd McKee
oh yea. Here we're trying to get back to the basics of firefighting. So with the help of some awesome instructors that came down to my area depts, we had a live burn with Capt Arnold of OKC, Capt Jim Hester of TAFB, Capt DeMauro of Owasso fire and Lt MCCormack of FDNY, it actually was the best weekend of training I've been involved in, in a long time.
Just got back form and car intrapment, and another call came in ,so more than one fire department was toned out.
Maybe i will have time tonight to join in on different subjects.
Glad to have you as a freind Todd. I see that you are a leader in the explorers group. That's great. They say that the way that the first year is for person is the way that person is for the rest of theri career. I 'm sure you have lot to give the explorers. I think that the explorers are good for people even if they don;t actually join the fire service becuase it develops them in ways many don;t get anywhere else.
We've got a group on this sight you might like to join called "Common Sense Fiefighting". It's a decision-maoking and leadership group concerned with the fire ground. It might help you with your fire instruction also. Check it out and let me know what you think

I didn't get it. Try again at dianef@pennwell.com. I certainly would have responded. You read my mind. I was going to e-mail you about the BHSC weekend. Should we have you fitted for a bulletproof vest as well as Glenn?
I looked for that helmet video I couldn't find it. I looked at the schedule at work I'm working 48hours this coming week. I don't think chief saw because its starting a new month lol. See ya
Hi man nice to meet you....the picture is of a fire that i was first due on earlier this year this is what we rolled up to and this alaram was only a few blocks away, ill probably put more pics up once i figure my way around this profile. Anyways i updated my profile right quick with the first and last name.
Hey Todd, thanks for inviting me to the discussion. I'm a bit overloaded with stuff right now, but I'll try to contribute something in the near future. Stay safe!
I'd be very interested in joining the group. In the first stages of a Haz Mat incident what is needed are firefighters and command staff that know Haz Mat and can make initial decisions which satisfy life safety priority.
Hey Todd, thanks for the quick reply on my discussion and the offer for some drills. You can contact me at corbi@salisburync.gov . I have been away from HazMat for a while and am trying to get back into the groove and also make sure that my guys are up to date and safe. Stay safe brother.
Todd,
I got a new phone and in the process must have missed your voicemail about the RIT class that you where teaching. Very sorry I didn’t get back with you in time. If you need any help with anything else let me know and thanks for thinking of me for that one. Hope all is well brother, I’ll talk to you soon.
Spent a great amount of time pouring over the pictures. Amazed at what is there, even for the fairly novice eye. That big of a debris pile and body count yet nothing but a token inspection. Blows the mind.
As for the cold, its been down there for a while now. Its -5 today, which feels relatively warm compared to the past few days. I hear the Mid-West has had some weather as well.
