Pride and Ownership: A Firefighter's Love of the Job

Tell us…
...what ceremonies you’re conducting to get them fired up.
...what traditions you have in your fire department.
...about the history of your department and your department’s heritage.
...how you expect your new firefighters to treat the job.
...how you expect your company officers to treat their men and women.
...what chief officers can do to boost morale and create that atmosphere of ownership.
...what issues we’re facing in today’s fire service.

Chief, Great Session @ the Alabama Fire Chief's annual meeting!  Your stuff is like "chicken soup for the firefighter"!  Thanks for the inspiration, hope we can get you back here again soon and spread the word...

Chief, was so pleased last tour to find on of our new rookies sitting in the back of the station reading your book. It started a conversation and his eyes lit up when I showed him my cook book with your foreword in it you had written for me. Thanks for the inspiration, hope to see you soon.
