Your Fire Engineering Training Community Box

Leadership is the key to success!

Which are most successful units or companies in your fire department?
Which companies seem to work the hardest and produce the most positive results?
Which units have a waiting list of people trying to be assigned or transfer into them?
What is the common denominator between all these units?
The answer is LEADERSHIP!
Your most successful units are the ones commanded by effective and talented leaders. Officers that know how to motivate and inspire the firefighters that work there. Officers that say what they mean and mean what they say. Officers that display integrity, and expect it from everyone around them. These are just a few of the ingredients of an effective fire service leader and your company and chief officers can have the same successful results when they develop these skills.
