Hey Tim,

Great to see you still believe! As stated in the forum post I started it was going to be a big nut to crack to have anything like this happen. It could not be farther from the truth. I did all I could in Matawan and it cost me my membership. It all adds up to politics and if you do not play the game you lose and "I Did" Its not how many firefighters you put on the scene anymore. It's how long do we keep firehouses open that have no qualified responding members. How about a truck company that has not responded in months, has not thrown a ladder against a building in years and wants a Million dollar tower ladder . Two ENG. companies that just make 25% if their lucky! Tim,, you know as well as I do consolidation works, you are a part of it, but with people in positions with the powre to do what happened to me, it will take the loss of life to make it happen. Ask Tommy your Chief in Dist 2 how the Orchard st. fire went. It was a joke !! and could have killed 3 firefighters and the scary part ,one was my son and if not for the decision of the three to back out who knows what the outcome would have been. It truly needs to happen, but you also know the other side, because you live it also!!!!!!!!!

STAY SAFE !! Dennis
