Does PowerPoint make the instructor, or does the instructor make the learning experience? Don't get me wrong, PowerPoint is a wonderful tool and a great visual aid, but when you lean on technology and slides too much, the only thing being taught is that you don't know your material well enough to expand beyond the slides.
PowerPoint is a tool, and just a tool - it can never replace a well prepared and knowledgeable instructor.

I use your illustrations in my class and that will keep them awake :) Thanks for this one as well.
Spot-on Paul. I know I've "endured" the teaching of such a character many times. I pray I haven't become one myself, it's always foremost in my mind when I am teaching.
