Where firefighters come to talk training

The kind and gentle approach doesn't work any more - so perhaps the current day Smokey needs an image adjustment! This is just a suggestion, of course:)

Totally agree, Chief - gentleman Smokey is not getting the job done. I imagine our new Smokey would have a chip on his shoulder, a Clint Eastwood snarl and tough cowboy demeanor. Perhaps we should throw in a little Chuck Norris for the repeat offenders!!

Not exactly in a "Winnie-the-Pooh" kind of mood, are we?

So, when a national park puts a ban on campfires and campers start one anyway; then how is it an "accident" if it gets out of control?

My point is that there should be severe consequences for those who are responsible for being irresponsible with fire of any kind.

Look at what these "accidents" have cost in terms of LODDs.

Not to mention what it has cost property owners and taxpayers.

And the millions of acres in natural habitat for our wildlife.

I agree; it's time to get tough with the fire setters; accidental or not.

Tough Smokey would make a great tattoo.

Thanks, Chief! And regarding where my brain is, let's not go there - it's a very, very, very, strange place:)

Your brain must be a weird and magical place - how do you think of these illustrations. Another great job - If only that would be the Poster for Smokey’s replacement. Nice work

LOL! I agree, Jeff. However, Bobby may agree with your notion, but would probably bulk at the gory imagery that I'd inevitably draw. Dismemberment can be an ugly mess, regardless of how appropriate:)
