I am looking for any information about setting up a quality assurance program for our HazMat team. Criteria include : Sampling materials, incident management, monitoring, and testing materials.
We have SOP's that we follow, however, we are looking for in-house quality assurance greater than State guidelines.
We are looking to make our team more efficient and could really use some fresh ideas.

BREAKING NEWS FROM WEST VIRGINIA

I male was contaminated at a local chemical plant with Anhydrous Ammonia. EMS transported him to the nearest hospital, Pleasant Valley Hospital, without first decontaminating the patient. The hospital was shut down as EMS cews and the patient had to be decon'd upon arrival, cause a mass cross-contamination of patients and staff at the facility. More to follow as I find out the details.
