Where firefighters come to talk training

Many larger fire departments have successfully utilized an outside vent position for years, however for many smaller suburban departments the use of this valuable position has never been explored. We implemented this position in Lewisville and The Colony, Texas and have had great success with it.  Attached is a training power point for the suburban OV.

thankyou for the power point. its a great idea and i agree its under utilized

Great stuff, as always Chief.

The difference with a good ov as a hose team was terrific.  Yet, as a search team, I had no idea how beneficial the OV could be until we experienced it.

Thanks for sharing.

Good Stuff Bro. I have been looking at this as an additional duty of the Engineer in a three man Engine. Great powerpoint.

Very nice presentation. Here is one that I put together for a similar purpose.
