Where do you See the Fire Service in 10 years from Now

Where do i see us , I see over the next few years Volunteer Fire Fire Depts merging to save money, I see myself still a part of the service but semi retired , and watching the young guys dealing with what i have been dealing with.

I hate say it ,but i see in 10 years the depts. in my town merging, and fleet reductions in each station, and yes will still be a part of the dept. even if i'm sittin in a hover-round lol, got to keep the young people miserable

More volly depts switching to paid staffing, more electronics on the rigs and equipment and dealing with a new breed/mentality. I'll definately be around even though I'm already having trouble understanding the lack of work ethic in this "newer generation". I'll definately do the best I can keeping our time honored traditions alive.
