Fire Engineering Training Community

Where firefighters come to talk training

Hi all

I've been lucky enough to be awarded a scholarship to travel to the USA to study the deployment and tactics of aerial apparatus. I'll also be looking at incident command, high rise procedures and anything else I can get my hands on. I have made contact with some of you on this site, and do have some formal arrangements to carry out my study, but I'm keen to meet up with any of you to talk shop and maybe visit your department. The trip has been brought forward for me to attend an event in Germany, so I'll now be coming to the USA at the end of September and into October for 3 or so weeks (details not yet finalised). I'll be in New York first, then over to LA. If any of you are in those areas I'd love to meet you. If you know of any training opportunities or other relevant experiences I might be able to partake in, I'd love to hear from you. Chances are I might be back to FDIC next year as well, but that's not confirmed.

Kind regards
