Bio:
With 40 years in the fire service I retired in 2013 from a career fire department. For over 34 years serving The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, an urban capital city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Proudly serving as firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain and Senior Battalion Chief. Finally retireing after serving as acting Deputy Chief of Operations and finally acting Chief of Department. Concurrently served with a progressive volunteer fire company for many years serving as a fireman, company officer and chief training officer. I have nearly 20 years with FEMA USAR PA-TF1. Currently serving PA SCTF Type IV Incident Management Team. I Instruct for the Harrisburg Area Community College specializing in Front Seat Rider, Leadership and Strategy and Tactics. Currently a private vendor for the PA State Fire Academy in course development and instruction. I currently operate a multi discipline training and consulting company Trident Training Specialists - Team Red is fire centric training & consulting. Team Green serves the business and infrastructure community in training and consulting.Team Gold Front Training deals specifically with leadership, officer development and strategy and tactics training. I remain an eager student but also have been a fire service mentor/instructor for many, years in the fire service. I provide public speaking, Keynote and training throughout the country. Sharing thoughts and experience for the benefit of others is important to me. I have provided articles for publication to Traditions Training LLC and the Fire Engineering Blog community.
