. As an experienced Officer and owner of my own Firefighting Training company, LEGACY Firefighter Training , we all realize the importance of training and education. These are extremely valuable tools, especially with less experienced firefighters. Train for the basic fire and educate you and your members, then they will be ready for the unusual situation. The foundations we teach in the fire service will benefit all at the fire scene, now and always. Stay Safe....… Continue

Mike, glad to meet you over the weekend, had a great time with the fires and dinner conversation. Hope to see you back up this way soon.

Unfortunatly the benefit recipient died Sunday night, but the funds raised will go far with his wife and children

Thanks Mike. I'll be there from 9/26 till 10/4 so might catch the Chief on the 3rd. The Chief at the academy has approved for me to spend some time with your company as part of the programme. If you don't mind I'll call you when I'm there and confirm a day and time. Thanks for your help. I look forward to meeting you.

I'll definately be in New York. I have a formally arranged visit to your training department. The scholarship is based on the tactical deployment of aerials, something we don't do as well as you guys. Besides that I'm looking for some informal visits, ride alongs, training and "shop talk" so I can get the most out my trip. You can't beat getting amongst it with the guys. I'll keep you posted with dates, and will be real keen to meet up.

Hey Mike

I got the scholarship. I'm coming over in March/April next year. Hope to catch up. Really looking forward to it. Never been to the USA.

Hey Mike. New Zealand here. Application to get to the USA is all done. I've got to have some interviews soon, so here's hoping. Are you still with Ladder 58? Is that a tower ladder? If so I'd be keen to discuss some stuff with you specific to tower ladders. That's similar to our set up.
Regards

I will definately be in touch. It's fantastic to see the international botherhood alive and well. If you ever come down to this part of the world, make sure you let me know. You will be well looked after, with plenty of places to stay, things to do, people to meet and fires to talk out. Have a great day.
