Where firefighters come to talk training

Is there a large need for portable gas monitor training in the field? I am in the process of developing a trainer and I am wondering if there is a real need for this type of thing. I think there is and I think that I can help protect and save lives with it. Any info feedback would be great.

You just about need a house prop to train in. Using a gas detector is alot about draft, air current, whats heavy or light, are you going to have a LEL before you read it on the machine. Unless you can go someplace where you can release gas to practice, you get to practice (observe) in the real world.
