Where firefighters come to talk training

We had a close encounter with a tornado in the Chicagoland area recently and this brought up some response questions. What do we do with our companies when a tornado is approaching? Let them take cover in the firehouse or send them out in case of the station getting hit? I have had a couple officers ask.

Our department does not go out. We set off the storm siren and stay in house unless dispatched to an emergency.
Have you established any procedures for on duty personnel during a tornado or tornado watch
