Hey my Pal Steve Gillespie from FDNY sent me this poem not a quote exactly but I think it is cool

Fires do not think,
They react to set laws in relation to chemistry and physics.
We, the firefighters, are supposed to think and outsmart the fire.
Yet we often lose to this non-thinking entity.
This alone speaks volumes in relation to our education.
This should sound alarm bells at every level in regards to our training.
