Firefighter Rapid Intervention F.E.P.S. Demo

This is a short video that I edited down from a full length video I posted a few years earlier - It demonstrates the speed of a "F.E.P.S." (FF Extraction Pulley System) used for the rescue of an unconscious FF from an an upper floor when a "conventional" ladder rescue is too difficult or not possible. The system we use is pre-assembled for rapid deployment.......

If you have the FF Window Bailout Prop, Cut Down Ladder and Denver Drill Hallway I designed you can practice this evolution right outside your fire station apparatus bay.......

The "Escape System" bailout at the end of the video demonstrates how the "Entry" FF can quickly exit the room if conditions rapidly deteriorate before the ladder is repositioned for his exit. I'm using a CMC Escape Artist and Flashlite Anchor Hook in the demo. My guys were intentionally not busting their a** and still completed the evolution in a great time.
