Hi Julie!!!! Sorry for the delay, it's been crazy busy. All is well and I miss you buddy!! I hope all is well with all at home and I hope I get to see you again soon! Thanks again for everything that you have done for me.
Hey Julie, Remember when you bought the shirt off my back at the AAF golf Tournament?

Julie: Please post it wherever you like. I have no idea where I would publish it. Feel free to pass it on.

I wrote it for just that reason. It was in my head, I had to get it out, and I had to hope folks would understand. I am so glad it hit the mark for you.

Hi Julie, I finally got time to try and set up a Fire Department Strategic Planning Group. The book cover came up right away but I tried to put my FD official photo on my page but it doesn't look like I was successful. I'll be in Denver next month and will try to spend some time in the booth to sign books but I'm not yet sure when I will be available. Seems like a lot going on this year. Jackie is driving up early to visit friends and then meet me on the 11th when I arrive. Frank Roma and our EMS Coordinator Russell Griffin are also coming. Hope to see you there. Mark
Hi Julie! I'm trying to catch up today and am finally getting to this. As somewhat of a techno-twit, I guess I really don't know what I have to do to start up a FDSP group. I have a jpeg of the book cover but don't know what I have to do with it. I've been doing most of the email threads/comments/etc. from my home email at markswallace@prodigy.net and it would serve my department to do most FDSP stuff from home. This would be a good conduit for some of the SP discussions I have been doing on-line with a few people over the years as I help them with their challenges concerning their processes.
Hey Julie,
Yeah, I was at the Pipes and Drums Symposium in Lewisville, TX at the first on May. I take it you were there selling books and videos. I bought the pride and ownership book from ya.
I am headed to the Northwest Fire Rescue Exposition in Portland, Oregon, next week. If you're at the show, come by the Fire Engineering booth (#3) and say hello! I'll also be presenting a seminar on our upcoming basics book: Fire Engineering's Handbook for Firefighter I and II.
