I am a firefighter, I am proud to say that I am a firefighter; I want all the firefighters reading this to be proud to say that they are a firefighter.

Firefighters should know their jobs as intimately as possible, we firefighters need to know thy enemy. The enemy is the fire (convection, conduction, and radiation). Know thy battle field; the battle field is the fire ground. Know what the fire is going to do to the building and what the building is going to do when it is on fire.

Remember, YOU are a firefighter!

Firefighters are the most popular!

Firefighters are the most respected!

Firefighters are the most trusted!

My message to you is, MAKE A DIFFERENCE and to LIVE LIFE TO MAKE A MARK!

Firefighters have a rule of TWO in and TWO out, because we are firefighters and firefighters are worth saving. No matter how much experience you have, let someone back you up.

Remember core values and have a sense of humor and imagination.

Before we depart with this simple writing, please let me leave you with a simple message.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, because YOU ARE A FIREFIGHTER! WE ARE FIREFIGHTERS!
