Are you suffering from Post FDIC Syndrome? Don’t suffer any longer. Introducing FDIC Spray. Just insert nozzle into the ear and give it a shot. You will be full of passion, commitment, motivation and enthusiasm in no time! But wait there’s more……..
So you’re back home and you have gone back to the station only to find that your FDIC high is under attack by the mediocrity. You bring back a few new tricks of the trade or an idea for a change in tool placement on the apparatus only to be met with blank stares and accusations of being a “buff”. Your super charged batteries suddenly tank to low alert and you are sucked back down in the poison. Well you are not alone. Anyone who tries to better themselves and make a difference suffers this from time to time. New ideas and knowledge are a threat to those who attend rookie school and then vegetate in some station for the next 20 years. While you are reading the latest article they are shouting “Jerry…Jerry…..Jerry” at the T.V. or playing a video game. While you are working out they are frustrated because you are keeping them from making the ice cream run. Just keep doing what you are doing. Keep trying and offer your new discoveries and ideas to anyone who will listen. Stay engaged by visiting fireengineering.com and participating in forums, blogs etc… to keep you going. Stay in contact with those who share your passion and don’t be afraid to shoot an email or give a call to any of the FDIC Executive Board Members for support. Don’t let ANYONE steal your passion for the job!
