Actually I am a nurse in chas sc married to a firefighter here. My interest in this site is supporting the efforts of the iaff to get laws/legislation passed that would help to gain effective unionization for our state. An alliance of firefighters and nurses could double the strength of the effort to improve the work conditions for firefighters and nurses. The benefit for nurses would be the opening the way for unionization of nursing in this state. I saw that mr yow seems to be a leader in the iaff effort and my search for him has led me here.
