Top issues in your department:
Our organization is in its 23rd year and is over 100 members strong, who are located through out the US and England. Most of our members are MOS; including but not limited to: department chiefs, deputy/assistant chiefs, officers, police officers, EMTs and skilled, seasoned photographers. We are based in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ in the heart of the NY/NJ metropolitan area. Many have considered this area to be the 'fire capital' of the US; if not the world. We pride ourselves in documenting vivid and accurate pictures and video of the fire scene. Our work appears in most every fire-related publication, worldwide. We supply the news media with much of what you see on tv and in the local papers. Our members work hand in hand with arson and insurance investigations. We supply fire departments with photos and video for training exercises and critiques as well as department photos for identification, nostalgia, calendars, wetdowns, apparatus, keepsakes and even funerals. We are, (at the risk of sounding conceited) the elite, a step above the rest. We strive for quality and accuracy; and I'm proud to be a member.

That is so cool she has the same name and spelled the "Correct" way!!! I have only met one other person who has spelled her name the same as mine and almost everything that you find with names pre-printed spell it with an "e" or "i" or "ie" [grrrrr]. Anyways, cool to have you as a friend, will you be at FDIC? I cant wait, this will be my 2nd year atttending and this year I am staying the whole week [last year just did the Hot Conf]...be safe!

Thanx for the vote of confidence. what you saw was just a temporary front page. i'm still uploading pics into the other galleries. their are some 14,600 shots. most are digital and some are film which i scanned in. after i finish uploading what is stored on my computer, i still have another 5,000 or 6,000 negs to scan in! most of the websites that i've seen, organize their fire shots by date, i.e. they just keep piling up their new entries, one after another, as they come in and it is difficult to find any job in particular, unless you remember the date. i am taking a different approach. i am organizing them by state and then by town. i can't tell you what the date was for the last fire that i shot...but i CAN tell you the town! as i started to upload my photos, i was uploading all the photos for each town but i decided to start with just a job or two per town until i'm up and running; and then go back and fill in the older jobs. if you would like to take a peek in the "back door", go to www.photozonfire.exposuremanager.com and you'll see what i'm doing while it's under construction.
By the way...i have a stepdaughter who spells her name the same way...no "e". she hates when someone misspells it!
Stay safe...Ron
