Graduated: Teague High School in 1983.

Attended Sam Houston State University, 1983 - 1984, major of Agriculture Education.

Joined United States marine Corps in 1984.

Achieved rank of Corporal in USMC. Served from 1984-1989 active and reserve units.

Completed Associates Degree at Navarro College in 1993.

Employed by State of Texas as Lead Investigator in Mental Health/Mental retardation Facility in Mexia, Texas since 1989.

.Lived in Groesbeck, Texas since 1996.

Joined Fire department on June 6, 2001. Prmoted to Line Lieutenant in 2003; promoted to Assistant Chief in 2005. Assist Fire Chief in commanding our 40-member Volunteer Fire Department. One station; 7 apparatus (Engine, Squirt, Rescue, Tanker, 3 Brush Trucks)
