I watched your video on Vent Discipline. This is a very good example of why we must learn to read smoke and vent appropriately. More importantly, not crawl into an atmosphere as volitile as that one. It appeared that F/Fs were inside at the time the window was taken out. What do you say to venting before you enter if possible. I think coordinated attacks usually have the best outcome. In today's age of tremendous fuel loading and fast response times, we are arriving on scene at the worst possible time. That time being the time of flash over, which was probably experienced here. The smoke in that video should not be thought of as smoke but as unburned fuel just below ignition temp. Sometimes it is better to make the beast show itself and then deal with the fire instead of making entry into that atmosphere. I wouldn't jump into a pool of gasoline. Just food for thought.
