Jeremy is a past volunteer chief officer, serving 11 years as a Deputy and Assistant Chief. Jeremy currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief of Operations at Picatinny Arsenal Fire and Emergency Services, NJ. Jeremy holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Building Construction Technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Jeremy is a part time Fire Instructor / Consultant for Trident Training Specialists, and a Certified Speaker and Instructor for John Maxwell's Leadership program. Chief Rebok is a designated CFO, FO, and a Member of Institute of Fire Engineers, serving as a member on the education committee.

The Precise and Accurate Debate...There is no Blanket Approach

Yes, I am going to go down this road after not writing in quite some time. I am utterly disgusted with articles and bantering I have read on social media these past few weeks. I have also been made aware of childish acts to gain attention that certain "so-called" leaders in the fire service (as they call themselves) viscously react in a manner against the very own words they wrote about themselves in their published books.

There is "NO" Replacement

As I ventured to NYC last week to assist a fellow Chief Officer, I happened to message Lt.
