Part of the "Emergency" television show generation of children who wanted to become firefighters. Joined a volunteer fire department in Southern New Mexico in 2000 to fullfill the lifelong dream. Quit my career in the internet industry within a year and never looked back.

Graduated from the Las Cruces, NM Fire Academy in 2002. Served as a Firefighter and Driver/Operator during my first seven years until promoting to Lieutenant.
