Sean,
If you get a chance to attend one of Gustin's classes at FDIC, I would highly recommend you do it. He is out of Miami Dade, Florida and he is a wealth of knowledge about firefighting. Plus he is just a damn good speaker. I'm not sure where your from but maybe you guys could bring him to your department for a program, you won't be sorry you did.
I agree, Dodson's Reading Smoke is an awesome program. I've taken it many times over the years and I pick up something new every time.

Be safe,
Bruce

I don't know Captain Gustin, or his program, but I'm sure its great. I would however HIGHLY recomend Chief Dodson's "Reading Smoke" class. I'm a 20 plus year vet and I learned a gret deal from Dave! Ya' ll stay safe!

heres a link to a class I have written on LDH manifolds. I hope its useful to your department. Feel free to use it as you see fit. It is about 1 1/2 hour didactic and up to 8 hrs practical. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Rapid Fire has a Trainers Edition as well as a Students Edition for every title we carry. I'm not sure if I can do this or not so let me know if I'm outa bounds, but if anyone is interested in more info on our Trainers Edition, let me know. I can offer substantial savings if you mention you're from Fire Engineering. Stay Safe and Stay Trained!

This is my job. I thought this can be a great way for me to get new ideas along with learning from this group. I just hope I have something I can add to better the service.
