Bio:: Greg Benson is a retired Fire Chief with over 39 years of all hazards experience. Benson has extensive experience in response and command of a wide variety of emergency incidents. Benson has conducted fire service training in academies as well as in advanced and specialty topics. Greg holds a Master in Public Administration and is designated as a Chief Fire Officer from the Center for Public Safety Excellence. Benson has obtained numerous advanced fire service certifications and is an instructor in college and university undergraduate/graduate public safety courses. He has also conducted research and written on topics such as fire safety culture, fire behavior, High Reliability Organizations and organizational behavior.
