Bio:
Curt Thompson PEM, a Fire Lieutenant and Training Officer with the Waterford Regional Fire Department and a consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Patriot Services Corporation, has nearly twenty years of experience in emergency response, planning, training, and exercises. He has various work experiences including response in Tactical Medicine, Fire, Haz Mat, Security, and Technical Rescue. He is a Training Officer on a large multi agency Hazardous Materials Response Team, a sworn member of a law enforcement Special Response Team, and a Contract Instructor, Course Developer and Program Manager for the Michigan State Police Emergency Management and Homeland Security Training Division.

We have always had a fulltime Haz-Mat Team, but it also does Heavy Rescue and Technical Rescue. All members are Rescue Techs/Specialists, Haz-Mat Tech/Specialists and State Fire Instructors as well as FF/EMTs or FF/Para
