This is an aerial view taken by a Forestry aircraft over looking the helibase at the Clear Alaska airport. The Bear Creek fire in the background is a complex of several smaller fires and with this blowup, joined together to form the current 20,000 plus acre fire with the head being about 8 miles South of Clear AFS.
