Where firefighters come to talk training

These are dedicated for the RIT and are kept in the Stokes basket with the RIT bag on Rescue 1. They are Fluorescent Orange to aid in locating them in low visibility situations and this keeps them separate from the "firefighting tools" since they are for RIT ONLY.

The ax is a fiberglass handle, it is an older one. We do still have a couple of wooden handle fire axes but all of our new ones are fiberglass. Our department has always used the fluorescent orange green paint to mark our equipment. We just decided to take it one step further on these RIT tools, we plan to add a TNT tool to the RIT basket also. Wire cutters and webbing will be kept in the TrueNorth RIT bag. We just go the L-2 bag with the plastic bottom which is nice, it is built like a sled so it drags ver easy.

Very good idea! Just out of curiosity, is that a fiberglass handle or wood?
