    G********,

We have created a site for responders run exclusively by responders... It is a place with great fellowship on the good days and solid and confidential support when the "bad call" happens. As a Chaplain of over 25 years we wanted a place that responders could come and receive the support for traumatic events with trained CISM responders and more.

Please join our site and invite your friends, too

Sean, I have spoken to the LT in charge of the wildland program and she does not have a problem with you coming along, We just have to clear it with the Op's Chief. As for the length of the seasons, It started last month and will go until November. We as a group travel all over the states for jobs. Last year we sent crews to Utah, Florida, Montana and California on type 6 and 1 engines. As for the web site it is a work in progess and is a little underdeveloped to say the least. Crews are sent out for at least 3 weeks and then rotated out as needed, all in all it depends on the task at hand you might end up on the front line chasing glory or tasked to a helo refuel spot as protection which is a good time to read books and over eat, its always a roll of the dice. It does help that the department is getting a good rep with the powers to be, within the wildland comminuty, it makes for better job assignments.
I will keep in touch mate.
