Thanks my friend. Please do join our site...by doing so you can know what is there and can invite others that may need the support or backup to the site. We have prevented 2 potential suicides and helped several by providing them a place to vent and debrief.
We do this because we know how necessary it is that the responders have safe places to share and open up.
Do not hesitate to refer our way or if you ever need us... for most anything... we are there,
Welcome to the New Jersey Group. Make sure you invite your fellow New Jersey Brothers. This is your group so feel free to pass on some knowledge, start or join any discussion, or if your looking for a place to vent, vent away
Dennis,
How are you Brother? Im Tim, we had met one time at a fdny funeral i believe. I had been reading your replies to some of the regionalization posts and think you would be a key player in this process. I am a career firefighter with North Hudson Regional and also volunteer with Cliffwood. I think regionalization would be a big success in this area due to the response issues. I feel that at any point ever house in the area can at least get 1 rig into service in a acceptable amount of time. So i think instead of calling just for 1 station or department for a reported fire or alarm, you would dispatch 3-4 engines in a designated response area from 3-4 houses. so instead of cliffwood having 5-6 men on 2-3 engines, you would get 5-6 men on 1 engine from cliffwood, 5-6 men on 1 engine from matawan, maybe another well staffed rig from keyport. In our case in cliffwood, in a working fire situation our other manpower is coming from the town 1 over from yours, so they actually have to come through your town to get to the fire. I cant imagine how not utilizing the houses closer would not be safer for the residents of these area towns. Good luck and look forward to chatting with you more. Tim Colacci
Hey Bro can you send me those powerpoints and videos on hazmat and ventilation as well. The ones you sent to brent. Todd McKee 71 Stone Hedge Row Drive Johnstown Ohio 43031
Hey Dennis,
Thanks for the message. I grew up in Bergen county so I'm familiar with Jersey. My Grandmother still lives in Toms River, which I believe is Ocean County. Enjoy your summer down by the shore and stay safe.

No, I'm not the "producer" of cop vs. fireman. Though I'm a huge fan as well. The picture above was taken while I was helping out with a class in Fairbanks, Alaska. They found a way to purchase the puppets and just have fun with them. They are not the originators either.
Though I did hear that both Perry and Jake may make an appearance at the FOOLS convention in Seattle next month. If you are a FOOL, get your arse registered.
Yes I did thanks man I am going to use one on Tuesday to train. Let me know if I can repay you for postage or send you something sometime. God Bless! Todd McKee
sorry to hear they don't get it
sometimes the good old boy club is stronger than the leadership
they don't get it that u r looking out 4 them -- saving them from themselves
