Which preconnect attack line loads do you recommend and why?

2.5 inch with 250' on a dead man's lay allows for rapid deployment and is a manageable pull for staff, it can be easily added to when the length is not enough and can be reduced and split for overhaul.
the added advantages of the deuce allow for a more rapid knockdown of most fires however it is to be said that an 1.75' is far better for small fires and most room and content fires. However if you have more than one or so rooms involved then the higher gpm from the deuce would be my first choice despite the setbacks of needing added manpower to move the line around. The fact of the matter is; is that no two fires are alike and will do what is not expected of them from one moment until the next so being flexible and having different lines pulled will facilitate a speedy resolution of the problem.

Hi,

In Europe and South America we don't have such "word" to explain the way we do.

In fact I agree at 100% with Nate Brown: prepare correctly to avoid problem when using. Also, take a look at the places you will have to work in. Depending on the number of floor, you must not use the same method.

30 seconds after the truck stop, the team has a nozzle at about 300 feets, flowing 135GMP (that's 1 3/4 hose line). For building, we use a system with such a box with 2 1/2 and hose line of 1 3/4 on shoulder. Our best time is less than 7 minutes at 11th floor with a team of two.
