Firefighters Positions Restored in Upstate NY

Saratoga Springs NY, Thanks to Sen. Chuck Schumer the Saratoga Springs FD will be able to restore 7 FF's positions that were laid off at the Beginning of 2010. The grant totals $665,000.00. The fire department was staffed in 2009 at 56 and the City cut it down to 48 this year in order to save money. the best part is that these FF's are already trained and ready to go back to work.
