Where firefighters come to talk training

A Great Opportunity

Now here is a novel idea that our County Sheriff started this year Inmates helping out the Community , Well we took advantage of this program and they came and assisted us with doing aour annual hose tests and it cost us Pizza and Soda for the inmates , they also cleaned up our Training center for us also.

-My opinion.... inmates should have nothing to do with our honorable profession.

Totally understand. We have several concerns over this , Insurance, but it came down to this , the members will not show up to do this except for the same people , I could of course pay a company to do it, Believe me i did what would serve me the best. So far it's been a postive program.

We used to have kids who were assigned community service wax our trucks. Not sure if they are still doing that.
