I read one on FE site (I think that is where we got it) called the 500 lbs drill. Give a firefighter a bottle with 500 lbs of air and make him work (simulating self extrication from a building under mayday situation) while timing duration of remaining air (all the way to mask sucked to face).
Then give him a second 500 lb bottle and allow him to await rescue with a timer encouraging all of the air conservation measures (simulating RIT accessing and freeing firefighter in mayday distress).
This is a good way to teach guys why we top our bottles off to 4500 instead of accepting 4000 as "enough" at the start of the shift.
Outstanding....we all need to learn this lesson.
